“Transaction too large: N > 1232”
A serialised Solana transaction cannot exceed 1,232 bytes. Your transaction is over the limit.
Common causes
- Too many instructions or accounts in a single transaction.
- Many signatures (64 bytes each).
- Large instruction data such as embedded metadata.
How to fix it
- Use versioned transactions with address lookup tables to shrink account references to 1 byte each.
- Split the work across multiple transactions.
