“incorrect program id for instruction”
The program id passed does not match what the instruction requires, or an account is owned by an unexpected program.
Common causes
- Passing SPL Token as the token program for a Token-2022 mint (or vice versa).
- Wrong system/associated-token/metadata program id in the account list.
How to fix it
- Check every program id in the instruction. Determine the mint's owner program and use that for all token instructions.
