“TransactionExpiredBlockheightExceededError: Signature … has expired: block height exceeded.”
The transaction's blockhash expired (its lastValidBlockHeight passed) before it was included in a block. It will never land and can be safely rebuilt.
Common causes
- Low priority fee during congestion.
- Slow RPC forwarding or a leader that dropped the transaction.
How to fix it
- Rebuild with a fresh blockhash and a competitive priority fee, then resend.
- Use
sendTransactionwithmaxRetriesand resend on an interval until expiry.
