“An associated init constraint was violated”
An associated init constraint was violated. Anchor checked the AssociatedInit constraint on one of the instruction's accounts and the account did not satisfy it.
Common causes
- The account passed under the constrained name does not meet the
AssociatedInitrequirement declared in the#[account(...)]attribute. - The client was generated from an outdated IDL, so accounts are mapped to the wrong names.
How to fix it
- Read the program logs just before this error: Anchor prints
AnchorError caused by account: <name>with the left/right values when available. - Open the instruction's
#[derive(Accounts)]struct, find that account and satisfy the constraint.
